When what was supposed to be a direct drive from Canmore to Vancouver the quickest way possible turned into 700 vertical meters of this. I love spending time with people who's got their priorities right. Thanks for this time Canada ❤️❤️❤️

Alex, the star in so many of my shots from this past year, here working his crack magic on the sexy sandstone of Zion National Park last month. I came here for the first time as a teenager a decade ago and was blown away by the intensity of the beauty packed into this place. I travelled to another 50 or so countries since then, but southern Utah still blows my mind and remains one of my favourite places on Earth.

Post-climb/pre-ski stoke on top of Col du Passon one chilly day back in February. I knew I wouldn't be gone from this French playground for very long... Anyone in Chamonix from the end of January and on, let's go outside and create memories.

Alex soaking it all in after reaching the summit of a pretty outstanding Yosemite classic at 3326 m, just in time for curtain call.

I'm not new to car dwelling but living out of a van for the past couple of months as temperatures steadily dropped has made my longing for a warm shelter grow stronger than ever. I may not have my own cabin in the woods yet but my friend Leo does and it's awesome, and so is he. If you ever find yourself in Golden, BC, I highly recommend you go check out his buffalo ranch nestled in the mountains of the stunning Blaeberry Valley. He's a true entertainer, an artist and a living encyclopedia, and always happy to share his knowledge and passion for his animals and simple lifestyle with whoever stumbles upon his little slice of paradise.

One of many ways to spend a rest day and prep body and mind for a week on the humbling granite walls of Yosemite National Park.

A sliiiigthly later start than planned had us begin the climb at sunset and finish it well after dark. Because route finding is so much more fun under a full moon. Right?

Psyched about climbing more questionable rock formations and general dirtbag living with this red dot over the next couple of months. This time; the American Wild West 🏔🏜🗻👌🏿
